Carrie Anne Knipe

Carrie Anne Knipe, born in Oswego on Sept 7th, 1978, passed away unexpectedly on

April 14th. Carrie loved caring for her little dog Sammy and walking at the Sterling

Nature Center with the too-late found love of her life, who she leaves behind, Chip

Somers. Carrie is predeceased by her father Edward, mother Joann, and a brother

Joseph. She is survived by her brothers Robert Knipe and Sean Knipe, as well as a

niece and nephews. She was proud of her dad’s military service in Vietnam, and her

oldest brother’s service as a United States Marine. Her memory will also be carried on

by her “Sissy” Lisa Phillips, Chip’s son Jacob Somers, and many other family and

friends whose lives Carrie touched. Graveside services will be held at Fairdale

Cemetery, Tuesday Apr 29th at 10am.
