Douglas VanDerMark Obituary

Douglas, D. VanDerMark, 56, of Solvay, passed away on Saturday January 7, 2023, with his wife, daughter, two of his sisters, and two family friends by his bedside. He was born in Syracuse, NY on July 9, 1966, to Daniel and Barbara VanDerMark.

Douglas served in the United States Navy for 15 years. He was a well-recognized employee at The Hartford.

Douglas was predeceased by his mother Barbara VanDerMark.

He is survived by his wife Mary; his daughter, Antonia VanDerMark; his son, Daniel VanDerMark; five grandchildren, Jaylon, Alisha, Julian, Jiovanni, and Josiah; three sisters, Dawn, Darcy, and Candi; his niece and nephews; and his dad, Daniel VanDerMark.

A private celebration of life will be held for Douglas by his family.
