Jacob M. Stoutenger, 27, passed away on January 1, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Utica, NY. Jacob was an inspiration and a pillar of strength to those in his life. He brought a tremendous amount of joy and laughter to many people.
Jacob resided in Booneville at the Upstate Cerebral Palsy House where he had many great friends in his life that were like family to him. He was employed at Cuigini’s in Barneveld through Upstate Employment Associates. Jacob was very social and enjoyed a good joke. He liked being “one of the guys”. He enjoyed rap and heavy metal music, playing games on his Play Station 4, attending concerts, drinking coffee and Mountain Dew, and eating pizza spicy foods.
Jacob was predeceased by two grandfathers, Larry A. Stoutenger Sr. and Christopher Stoughtenger Sr.
He is survived by his parents, Larry A. Stoutenger Jr. and Mellissa Stoutenger; grandparents, Iva Stoughtenger, and Robert and Lorraine Schermerhorn; siblings. Autumn Benavidez, Deven Stoutenger, and Victoria Stoutenger; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and his extended family at Upstate Cerebral Palsy.
There are no services at this time, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
