Joseph E. Denty

Joseph E. Denty, 65, of Oneida, passed at home peacefully with family on December 20, 2025; after a short battle with an aggressive cancer. Joe was a loving and caring father, husband and seasonally Santa Claus, survived by his wife Kathleen, three sons, two step children, multiple grandchildren, and extended family. Joe was at late a bus driver for Madison-Cortland ARC and loved his job, fellow co-workers and clients alike. A Jack-of-all trades and never too busy to lend a hand or try to help someone in need. His passing was expected and brisk but the toll it took on his family, friends, and community was deep. He will be missed and forever loved. A special thank you to the James A. Menter Funeral Home, Hospice of Utica, and Oneida Healthcare Center for amazing care and handling during this difficult time. Services will be held privately and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
