Jude C. O'Connor

OSWEGO - Jude Clifford O’Connor passed from his existence of this lifetime on July 11th, 2025, at the age of 87.  He was born at home in Jersey City, NJ, a breech baby with fluid on the lungs.  It was doubtful he would survive.  He was named Jude after the Saint of Impossible Cases.  He was the second son of Francis X. O’Connor and Elizabeth O’Connor. 

He is survived by his sister Elizabeth Jane Bellen; two adult children, Shawn O’Connor and Beth O’Connor DuBois; twin grandchildren, Connor and Caitlyn DuBois; his partner Emily Crane; and his ex-wife Barbara Rhinehart Headrick.  He is predeceased by a sister Gail Andrea O’Connor, and brother Francis John O’ Connor. 

Jude attended a one room school house in Lycoming, NY and Oswego High School.  He joined the Navy in 1956 and was honorably discharged as a Radarman in 1959 as a Second Class RD.  He worked for General Electric in the Computer Division before becoming a Boilermaker for thirty years in Oswego, NY.  Hobbies included wood working, wood turning, reading and golf.  He held a Masters Certificate in Nerolanquestic Programming (NLP).

One of his last requests was to thank everyone that touched his path of life while he lived a wonderful existence here on earth.
