Robert J. Borrow

Robert J. Borrow (Bob) of Fulton, NY, devoted husband, father, and grandfather passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 7,2025, at 86 years old.  He was born in the town of Volney on February 5, 1939, to Evelyn and Herbert Borrow.

Upon graduating from Fulton High School, he joined the United States Airforce.  Bob was a past Fire Chief and lifetime member of the Volney Volunteer Fire Corporation.  He was also a member of Mt. Pleasant Church.

His hobbies included hunting and fishing with his children and grandchildren.  He cherished every holiday and event with his family.

Bob is survived by his wife Elizabeth (Libby) of 65 years; four children, Beth Hough (Donald), Kitty Ferrell (Larry), Bob Borrow Jr. (Dia), and Scott Borrow (Stacey);12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and brother, Thomas Borrow.  He was predeceased by his sisters, Helen, Theresa, Florence, and Rosemary, and his brothers, Roy, Roger, and Charles.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at a Celebration of Life for Bob on August 3, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, at the Volney Volunteer Fire Corporation, located at 3002, State Route 3, Fulton, NY 13069.
